"...it is about improving athletic performance"

The mark of improvement is considered by many as the cornerstone of athletic development. To improve, you need to first understand where you stand today, how you plan to optimize your training time, and then determine if you made a positive impact.

The Myotest was created specifically to address these training issues and provide you with the information to enhance athletic performance. Information that was limited to the sport scientist and elite training center, is now available to all trainers, coaches, and athletes in a portable, accurate, and quick test – the Myotest.

Power, vertical jump, strength, velocity, and 1RM are just some of the measurements now available. In less than a minute, a test may be completed to look at athletic performance during numerous training movements such as jumps, bench, and squat.

1. Measurements designed for your sport

The Myotest offers seven pre-programmed testing protocols that represent the movements often associated with power development. There is also a trainer mode which allows you to become creative and design tests specific to your training and sport.

This is the important, but often over looked, measurement information required to set a baseline, optimize training, track change, and mark improvement. For more information about the testing protocols and how they apply to your sport please click on “protocols” or “my sport”.

2. Optimize training time & results

The Myotest offers the information to optimize training loads and time to accelerate your performance development. The Muscular Profile allows you to look at the power, strength, and velocity generated at various training loads. You will also be able to accurately estimate the 1RM at lighter loads.

What does this mean for you? You now have the information showing the load where peak power is generated, and the training load zones for power/speed or power/strength development.

Since optimizing training outcomes varies depending on the athlete, position, or sport; the right information that fits the athlete will save time and lead to positive results.

3. Comparing and sharing results

An internet based reporting package is included with every Myotest so you may save test results. Information from the Myotest is quickly transferred to the reporting program through a usb connection.

Comparison reports for one athlete, before and after, or a group of athletes are available to view or print. You may also use our evolving international database to see how your results compare to athletes from around the world – even those at the elite level!
